About Michelle

Helping first-time founders move from idea overload to clear, structured action.

I work with people at the early stages of building something new, when there are too many ideas, too much noise, and no clear next step.

Most of the founders I work with aren’t lacking ambition or intelligence. They’re overwhelmed by options, stuck in overthinking, or unsure which decision actually matters first. My role is to help reduce cognitive overload, bring clarity to uncertainty, and turn scattered thinking into a simple, structured path forward.

My work today

Alongside my corporate role in business development at Jensten Group, I’m the Co-Founder of Mindset2Market, a platform built to support first-time founders who want to move forward with confidence, not pressure.

I built Mindset2Market after seeing the same pattern repeatedly: capable, motivated people getting stuck at the very beginning — not because they lacked potential, but because they didn’t have a clear structure to think and move. I wanted to create a calmer, more practical way to go from uncertainty to action.

At Mindset2Market, I work with early-stage founders who feel:

  • overwhelmed by ideas
  • unsure which direction to commit to
  • stuck between planning and action

My work focuses on helping them move from mental overload to clear, structured action — without rushing, hype, or guesswork.

How I approach clarity

My approach sits at the intersection of mindset, behaviour, and execution.

Rather than pushing speed or motivation, I focus on:

  • how people make decisions under uncertainty
  • why early choices often feel harder than later ones
  • what actually creates sustainable momentum at the beginning

My core principles

  • Clarity before speed — fast action only works when direction is clear
  • Decisions before motivation — momentum follows commitment, not mood
  • Small actions, done consistently — progress doesn’t require perfection

This thinking underpins everything I build, from clarity sessions and practical tools to longer-term frameworks and diagnostics.

Building toward research-led founder clarity

My long-term work is centred on understanding how founders think, decide, and act in the earliest stages of building.

I’m currently developing practical, research-informed tools that sit between real-world founder support and academic insight, alongside preparing for PhD research exploring entrepreneurial mindset and early-stage founder behaviour.

Mindset2Market is not separate from this journey — it is the applied side of it.

Working with me

My work with typically happens through two pathways:

MSc Advisory

for people who need strategic clarity, decision support, and structured thinking at key moments

MSc Mentorship Programme

for people looking for longer-term guidance as they build confidence, direction, and momentum

Both sit under Mindset2Market and are designed to support early-stage decision-making and execution.

If you’re unsure where to begin, the Startup Clarity Call is usually the best first step.

Who I work best with

This work is likely a good fit if you are a founder, student, or professional who:

  • has ideas or goals, but feels mentally crowded, stuck, or unsure what to prioritise
  • wants clarity, structure, and clear next steps — not hype or pressure
  • is looking to strengthen their mindset, decision-making, or sense of direction
  • is willing to take small, consistent actions once things feel clearer

This may not be the right fit if you are:

  • looking for quick motivation, surface-level advice, or instant answers
  • expecting someone else to make decisions or “pick the path” for you
  • wanting a fully done-for-you solution without engaging in the thinking process
  • not ready to slow down, reflect, or take ownership of next steps

Clarity first. Direction next. Momentum follows.
